Delivery of a co-extrusion line

Plast Commerce - 93 Ltd announced a contractor selection procedure for: "Delivery of a specialized co-extrusion line for the production of an innovative profile from recycled PVC".

The procedure was conducted in implementation of the activities under Contract No. 2023/372968, realized with the financial support of the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021, within the program "Business Development, Innovation and SMEs in Bulgaria".

Product Portfolio Expansion

Introduction of co-extrusion

Plast Commerce - 93 Ltd launched a project to expand its product portfolio of innovative roofing profiles by introducing the co-extrusion process in the company.

The main activity involves purchasing new technological equipment - a co-extrusion line, which will modernize the company's processes and enable the production of a two-component roofing profile from recycled PVC. The essence of this method consists of the parallel extrusion of primary and recycled material into one common end product.

With the implementation of this project, Plast Commerce - 93 continues to fulfill its commitment to sustainable development based on the use of recycled materials in its products.

Innovative PVC Material Recycling Processes

Project 2021/587845

Plast Commerce - 93 successfully completed a project for the introduction of "Innovative PVC Material Recycling Processes" in the company.

Under the project, specialized equipment was purchased (2 units of filtering system and tools for the extrusion line). With their help, the company now has the ability to recycle contaminated PVC material - non-homogeneous waste containing metals, stones, etc.

Innovative PVC Processes

Plast Commerce - 93 launched a new project focused on sustainable development and utilization of production waste from polyvinyl chloride.

The main activity includes purchasing specialized equipment - 2 units of filtering system and tools for the extrusion line, which will significantly increase the amount of contaminated PVC material that the company recycles. This will overcome the difficulties in processing PVC waste, which is often non-homogeneous and contains metals, stones, etc.

Project 2020/551735 - Completed

Plast Commerce - 93 Ltd successfully completed project 2020/551735 for the Development of an innovative profile from 100% recycled PVC material.

Under the project, we developed an innovative solution for the construction, repair and reconstruction of roofs that extends the lifespan of the roof structure while cutting in half the costs, time and effort for its construction. The profile is entirely made from recycled PVC material and can be recycled again at the end of its service life.

The main activity was the purchase of a specialized energy-efficient production line.

Project 2020/551735 - Launch

Plast Commerce - 93 Ltd launched the implementation of project 2020/551735 for the Development of an innovative profile from 100% recycled PVC material.

The main goal of the project is to create and introduce to the market a more efficient, more durable and more affordable solution for the construction, repair and reconstruction of roofs. In addition, the profile that the company plans to develop is entirely made from recycled PVC material and can be recycled again at the end of its service life.

As the main project activity, Plast Commerce - 93 Ltd will purchase a specialized production line for the manufacture of this innovative profile for the construction sector.

COVID-19 Recovery Support

Support for Micro and Small Enterprises

Plast Commerce 93 Ltd implemented a project "Support for micro and small enterprises to overcome the economic consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic" under the Operational Programme "Innovation and Competitiveness", financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund and co-financed by the national budget of the Republic of Bulgaria.

The total amount of the grant received is BGN 10,000 and aims to overcome the lack of liquid funds and timely payment of personnel remuneration during July 2020.

Energy Efficiency Measures

Enhancing Competitiveness

At the end of January 2019, Plast Commerce - 93 Ltd successfully completed all planned activities under the project "Introduction of energy efficiency measures at Plast Commerce - 93 Ltd to enhance the company's competitiveness and achieve sustainable growth". The goal of the initiative was to increase the company's competitiveness for more sustainable long-term development.

As part of the project, the enterprise purchased and implemented new modern equipment - a PVC granulator and a mill for grinding waste products, and all company employees were trained to work with the new machines. In addition, an energy management system was implemented, and Plast Commerce - 93 Ltd received a certificate in accordance with the requirements of the BDS EN ISO 50001 (Energy Management System) standard.

Thanks to the implemented activities, the existing production capacity of the company has been expanded and a planned reduction in energy costs for production is expected. In the short term, the quality of manufactured products will noticeably improve, while reducing the amount of rejected products.
