PVC Waterstop Tape

Reliable waterproofing of construction and expansion joints in concrete structures. Various profiles for central and external placement, with and without compensator.

4 profile types Widths 16-24 cm Custom manufacturing

Profile Types

Choose the right waterstop tape type based on the installation location and expected structural deformations.

Type A profile - central placement without compensator
A

Type A

Central placement Without compensator

Flat ribbed profile for construction joints. Installed in the middle of the concrete section. Suitable for static joints without significant deformation.

Available widths: 200 mm 240 mm
Type D profile - central placement with compensator
D

Type D

Central placement With compensator

Profile with a central bulb for expansion joints. Installed in the middle of the concrete section. The compensator absorbs thermal expansion, contraction and seismic movement.

Available widths: 160 mm 200 mm 240 mm
Type AE profile - external placement without compensator
AE

Type AE

External placement Without compensator

Profile for external mounting on the water pressure side. Flat ribbed profile, suitable for construction joints on external walls and foundations.

Available widths: 240 mm
Type DE profile - external placement with compensator
DE

Type DE

External placement With compensator

Combines external placement with a compensator to absorb deformations. Ideal for expansion joints under high water pressure.

Available widths: 240 mm

How to choose the right type?

By placement

Central (A, D)

In the middle of the concrete section

External (AE, DE)

On the water pressure side

By joint type

Construction joints (A, AE)

No movement, flat ribbed profile

Expansion joints (D, DE)

With movement, profile with compensator

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a waterstop tape and what is it used for?
A waterstop tape is a PVC profile embedded in concrete joints to prevent water penetration. It is used in water treatment plants, reservoirs, tunnels, foundations, underground parking garages and other structures requiring waterproofing.
What is the difference between central and external placement?
With central placement (types A and D) the tape is installed in the middle of the concrete section. With external placement (types AE and DE) the tape is placed on the external side of the structure where the water pressure is.
When is a compensator needed?
The compensator (central bulb) is required for expansion joints (types D and DE), where movement from temperature changes, concrete shrinkage or seismic loads is expected. For static construction joints, profiles without compensator (types A and AE) are used.
Can you manufacture to our specifications?
Yes, we can design and manufacture waterstop tape to individual specifications. The lead time is approximately 20 working days.
What is the minimum delivery time?
For standard sizes in stock, delivery is within 2-3 working days. For special orders to specification, approximately 20 working days.
